The Lady of Pain, also known as the Fair Lady, Her Serenity, the Lady of Blades, the Iron Lady, Margaret Thatcher, simply the Lady, and Your Ex-Girlfriend, is the supreme ruler of Sigil.
The LOP is one of the biggest, baddest figures in the entire D&D meta-mythology. We know very little about her, save that she rules the city of Sigil and never seems to leave it. You can occasionally find her walking around the city. It is said that she has never spoken, though she sometimes relays decrees through her servants, the dabus, and it is rumored she sometimes sends messages directly into people's minds.
It is generally agreed that she is one of the mightiest entities in the multiverse. It's hard to overstate just how powerful she is. She's killed gods with no more than a thought.
