Jinn

In the Great Wheel model of the cosmos, the Inner Planes are a set of planes of raw elemental matter. Scholars who subscribe to the Great Wheel model believe the Inner Planes to be the source of all matter in the material plane.

The Inner Planes, being disconnected from the Outer Planes, are worlds devoid of spirit, mind, and soul. Lifeforms native to these planes are like automatons, lacking personality and will.

Inhabitants

The principal inhabitants of the Inner Planes are the elementals.

Jinn are known to inhabit the Inner Planes. Some of their greatest civilizations are based here, such as the City of Brass and Jalidia.

Some devils and celestials dwell in the Inner Planes, in the Elemental Planes of Fire and Air, respectively.
