Glasya
Titles Lady of the Sixth
Daughter of Asmodeus
Princess of Hell
Alignment Lawful Evil

Glasya is a powerful archdevil and the ruler of Asala, the sixth layer of the Nine Hells. She is the Daughter of Asmodeus and by far one of the most dangerous individuals in all of the Hells. She is often called the Princess of Hell.

Personality

Glasya has been described as fickle, capricious, and temperamental, with a major rebellious streak. She's been described as the "least predictable of the archdevils." She is well-known for her mocking and sarcastic, yet articulate, tendencies. She's also known to make offensive and vulgar sexual advances.

Despite what seems to be an unhinged personality, however, she is menacingly intelligent. There is someone coldly calculating and terrifyingly patient under that persona of rebelliousness and licentiousness.

Appearance

Glasya is known to take on a variety of forms, but she usually chooses to manifest as a lithe and sultry feminine figure. She typically appears with coppery skin, small horns, leathery wings, and fangs. She is often described as looking much like a succubus.

Relationships

Glasya is the daughter of Asmodeus, and their relationship is extremely complicated. She claims to love him, and she certainly takes advantage of the fact that he's her father, but she also openly schemes against him. Some speculate that this is a ploy to fool Asmodeus's enemies (by making him appear weak), while others claim she really is trying to overthrow him.

The identity of her mother is unknown.

Most of the other archdevils hate Glasya, but most are too scared to oppose her, since making a move against her might be perceived as a move against Asmodeus. The only archduke[1] who doesn't hate her is Fierna. They were apparently friends even before Glasya became an archdevil, so that's cool.

The archdevil Azaphiel is subordinate to her, and is one of her principal supporters. The only other duke under her is Tartach.

Perhaps the individual Glasya hates most is Levistus.

Power Ranking

CR ~27
22 (aspect)[2]

Her CR of 27 is an estimate. Basically my logic goes like this. In the Fiendish Codex II, we know that the aspects of Levistus, Glasya, and Baalzebul are 21, 22, and 23, respectively. We also know from the Book of Vile Darkness that Levi and Baalzebul have CRs of 25 and 29, respectively. Therefore I think it's safe to estimate that Glasya's CR is 27.
