The demodands, also known as gehreleths, are powerful fiends who dwell in Carceri.
The origin of the demodands is shrouded in mystery. Some occult scholars argue they are former celestials who sided with Asmodeus during the celestial civil war. Many demodands themselves assert that they are the original fiendish inhabitants of the Lower Planes.
