Azaphiel (uh-ZAY-fee-ull) is an archdevil of the Nine Hells. He is the Duke of Radaniza, a realm in Asala, the sixth layer of the Nine Hells.
History
Azaphiel and Asmodeus go way back. Azaphiel was a Celestian who flipped to Asmodeus's side during the celestial civil war, after the Battle of Tannia.
Thousands of years ago (by Marillian time), Azaphiel was for some reason imprisoned in Carceri. He escaped with the help of Arul.
