In Phoenic mythology, the namens (singular namen, rhymes with "ramen") are a divine race to which many (but not all) of the gods belong.
Traditionally, the namens are said to consist of Ra and his progeny. This includes Casir, Vaisha, Mishra, Quethe, Shahra the Stormfather, Sonya, Ebzu, etc.
Not included among the namens are Nyssa, Ra's father Ku, the Black Gods, the dark pit Tharosh, the abyssal serpent Abakesh, ascended gods such as Kilva, etc.
According to Glory, the namens, the Irians, and the Valens are one and the same.
