Azaphiel (uh-ZAY-fee-ull) is an archdevil of the Nine Hells. He is the Duke of Radaniza, a realm in Asala, the sixth layer of the Nine Hells.
History
Azaphiel was originally a human born in a material world, though not Marillia. Upon death, he was reborn in Celestia. During the celestial civil war, Azaphiel turned to Asmodeus's side after the Battle of Tannia.
Thousands of years ago (by Marillian time), Azaphiel was for some reason imprisoned in Carceri. He escaped with the help of Arul.
Relationships
Azaphiel is a true believer in Asmodeus's cause. He is old war buddies with the old guard of the Hells.
Azaphiel serves Glasya. Before her, he served in Kynzia, the seventh layer of the Nine Hells.
Azaphiel despises Torm.
Azaphiel considers Arul-Niraya a friend.
Azaphiel has a brother named Elezzir, who remained loyal to Celestia during the celestial civil war.
Azaphiel has several children, including Damaros, Rakard, and Zaelan.
