Chain devils, also known as kytons or velstracs, are fiends known for their love of pain, torment, and torture.
Although many chain devils serve Asmodeus in the Nine Hells, where they are renowned for their skills at torture, there is speculation that they are not true devils but rather another Lawful Evil fiendish race.
