Kytons, more commonly known as chain devils, are Lawful Evil fiends known for their love of pain, torment, and torture. It is said by some that they are known among themselves as velstracs.

Although many chain devils serve Asmodeus in the Nine Hells, where they are renowned for their skills at torture, some speculate they are not true devils but rather another Lawful Evil fiendish race.
