Holy war

Holy war is war waged for a religious cause.

Many religious groups in Marillia have a concept of armed struggle for the sake of their god. Here are some of them:[1]

  • The Lucianus: A Lucian great holy war is known as an occaria.
  • The Somnia: A Somnian holy war is called a rashana.

  1. ↑ Quick note: I like the distinction made in Crusader Kings III between holy wars and great holy wars, so I'm going to use it. A great holy war is a much larger-scale holy war.
