Cenazere

The Cenazere ("CHEH-nuh-zeh-ray") is an alleged council and secret society of mages based in Imray in Teresis.

The idea that such a council exists is basically a conspiracy theory. As Alicante has expanded deeper into the heart of Imray, several inquisitors and Hestati commanders have claimed that the seemingly disjointed factions of mages in Imray are secretly colluding against Alicantian interests. These claims have earned Hestati commanders the authority to raze whole towns, but little evidence has actually been brought forward confirming the existence of such a council. Some within the Justitia go as far as to claim that the Cenazere is a fiction perpetuated by the Hestati to justify their own ruthlessness and expansion of powers.
