Gnoll

Gnolls are upright hyena-like creatures. They are cruel and ravenous, delighting in carnage.

There is debate as to their origin—whether they are monsters native to the material plane, or demons native to the Abyss.

In Teresis, gnolls are found only in Aluray. They revere Rorakan, the Beast-God.

In 494, the gnolls of Aluray have been pulled into the Red Terror. Their god Rorakan has bent the knee to Zehir and commanded his faithful to obey Zehir's prophet Sorhan.
