The Hand of Vecna is a extraordinarily potent magical artifact said to be the literal left hand of a deity known as Vecna.

The Hand of Vecna is currently in the hands (hee hee) of Arkhan the Godslayer, who is said to have slain Vecna.

Lore

According to occult lore, ages ago in a far-off land, a man named Vecna sought power and immortality. He achieved the latter, but his hunger for control and domination was not yet quenched; he thus sought divinity. He achieved it, but at the cost of great betrayal—and his left eye and left hand.

Though now a god, Vecna's hunger only grows more still. Now he seeks to become king of the gods.
