The Hadina is a religious institution devoted to the worship of Vaisha. It is one of the largest religious institutions in Teresis. It is headed by the uma (lit. "mother").

The Hadina often works closely with the Saphora, the "state church" of Phoena. Although it is not a requirement, anointment by the uma of the Hadina is understood to be the most significant sign of legitimacy for new kings.

The Hadina is sometimes compared with the Sanctuary, but this is misleading. Whereas the Sanctuary is a hierarchal, bureaucratic organization, the Hadina is decentralized and composed of autocephalous temples.
