Raven was an official of the Sanctuary and the spymaster of the Alicantian Empire. He was a member of Oracle Ina Sukarian's Cere.

Raven was an orphan dropped off in front of a cathedral in Valina. He was found and raised by then-Bishop Adanita Balateno. She became about the closest thing Raven had to a mother. She went on to become a cardinal of the Grand Chamber and took Raven with her, who was then tutored by Carbuncle (who became a father figure to Raven) alongside Charles Bellanger, Morgan Le Rhodes, and later Oracle Ina Sukarian.

On 16 August 494, Raven was murdered by Casirists led by Sorhan in Lozanre, Phoena, at that year's harvest banquet.
