Aveserro, sometimes called the Great Dreamer (Phoenic: الحالم العظيم al-ḥālām al-3aẓīm, was a Phoenic sage, a high-ranking Somnian priest, and the most powerful dream magician in Marillia until he was murdered by his student, Sorhan.

In the afterlife, Aveserro became determined to rectify his mistakes in life, namely his poor judgment of Sorhan. He spent tens of thousands of years (from his perspective) meditating and obtaining power, and as of late 494, has achieved enough power to project a form in Marillia.
