Drow, or dark elves, are dark-skinned, silver-haired elves who dwell underground.
Alignment
The drow are, as a whole, so overwhelmingly evil, their mere existence has literally sparked millennia-long philosophical debate on numerous worlds on the nature of evil, nature versus nurture, salvation, and whether an entire people can be irredeemably evil.
Society
Drow society is militaristic, social Darwinist, and matriarchal. It is dominated by a strict social hierarchy of noble families and clergy.
Drow society is misandrist; males are considered inferior to females.
Religion
Drow civilization is monolatrous—they are forced to worship Lolth alone.
