Scarcella, often called the Madman of the Woods or the Madman, was a powerful and enigmatic arcanist. He spurned organized magical societies such as the Burja, and took few students; notable among them is Lord Greymark.
Scarcella is considered one of the most powerful arcanists in the history of Teresis.
