Arkhan, known in Marillia as Arkhan the Godslayer or simply the Godslayer, is a dragonborn priest of Tiamat and the supreme commander of her armies in Avernus. He is also known as Arkhan the Cruel and Arkhan the Great.

Arkhan became known to the people of Marillia when he arrived in the autumn of 494 to head a great Nyssan crusade. Rumors quickly spread of a warlord from Hell who had slain a god and wore parts of his body as jewelry. Even now, many are uncertain as to whether he is a man or a dragon.

Arkhan forged a pact with Sorhan, and it was at this time that a new "gospel" was spread: that Casir and Nyssa were one and the same deity.
