Raysh is of humble birth. He trained at a military academy for three years, married the princess (King Jassar's sister), and fought in the Eighth Occaria, for which he is celebrated as a war hero. Sometime during the second phase of the war, Raysh's wife and daughter were killed by the [[Hestati]].
