Aya (EYE-uh) is a major Alurayan deity associated with victory, rebirth, valor, and destiny. In both Akallan and Seuvian mythology, she is said to be the daughter of Ellara, goddess of light, and Ultus, god of thunder.
Judging by the fact that her paladin Lazarus Steele still has his powers, it seems Aya was not sealed by Sorhan in the Red Terror, unlike the likes of other gods like her brother Halle.
It may be that Aya and Lucia are one and the same.
