The Grimdark is an unhealthy and unwholesome place, a mostly lightless abyss where horrific abominations prowl and nameless gods prey. It is dominated by ruthless slavers, aberrant horrors, and living shadows. Life here is short and cheap and full of terror.
Meta
The Grimdark is Marillia's equivalent to Oerth and Toril's Underdark. Yes, the name is tongue-in-cheek.
Inhabitants
Powers
- Eilistraee, possibly the only good-aligned deity down here
- Iyashkabar, a serpent deity and one of the two principal deities of the yuan-ti.
- Lolth, the Spider Queen, patron deity of the drow
- Nyssa, the Dragon Queen. One of the deities worshiped by the yuan-ti.
