In Phoenic religion, Ra is the god of the sun, law, order, and creation. He is the greatest of the gods in Phoenic mythology and the progenitor of most of them.

According to the most common Phoenic creation myth, eons ago, Ra emerged out of the infinite sky-waters to the nascent earth, where he raised land out of its dark depths and populated it with the first humans.

Ra is one of the two principal deities of the Saphora and one of the two patron gods of the Phoenic monarchy.
