			According to Hayzar himself, he was born a mortal man in [[Marillia]] some time in the past. He lived a virtuous life and ascended to [[Celestia]] as a [[celestial]] upon death. Sometime later, he was deployed to defend a city in [[Marillia]] from a demonic invasion; he saved tens of millions of people by sacrificing a city of a quarter-million people. For this, he was dragged in chains to a court in Celestia. After attempting to attack the judges, he was hurled into [[Avernus]].

			Hayzar roasted in a pit for centuries before finally crawling out and being taken to the front lines of the Blood War. He distinguished himself on the battlefield, and rose through the ranks of the infernal hierarchy. Eventually, he was given the rank of [[archdevil]].
