Timeline
The timeline is a tad bit confusing, namely because of Kexxon. See, we know that Anthraxus became oinodaemon circa -1522. And then sometime between 1357–1369, he was ousted by Mydianchlarus.
No problem so far, but here's where things get weird. We know that sometime around 1373 (around the end of the Silence of Lolth), Kexxon was oinodaemon. The reason this is weird is because when Anthraxus returned (under the name "Phraxas"), he ousted Mydianchlarus.
What does this mean? It means that Mydianchlarus ousted Anthraxus, only to then be ousted by Kexxon (without getting killed)—and then Mydianchlarus must have retaken the throne from Kexxon, because we know Mydianchlarus was oinodaemon when Anthraxus returned. Mydianchlarus was then booted out by Anthraxus—and boom, Anthraxus is back on the throne.
Confusing, no? Let me outline this in a timeline to make things clearer:
- A bajillion years ago: Infestix becomes the first oinodaemon.
- -1522: Anthraxus becomes oinodaemon.
- 1357–1369: Mydianchlarus ousts Anthraxus without killing him, and becomes oinodaemon.
- (1357–1369)–1373: Kexxon somehow topples Mydianchlarus[1] without killing him, and seizes the throne for himself.
- 1373: Kexxon is definitely the oinodaemon.
- 1373–1379: Mydianchlarus returns and ousts Kexxon, re-becoming oinodaemon.
- 1379: Anthraxus ousts Mydianchlarus and re-becomes oinodaemon.
- 1479: Anthraxus is definitely the oinodaemon.

- ↑ At least, we're assuming Mydianchlarus was the oinodaemon Kexxon toppled. All we know is Kexxon became the oinodaemon. We don't know for certain the reigning oinodaemon was Mydianchlarus. It's possible that another ultroloth toppled Mydianchlarus and Kexxon toppled that guy, but we have no evidence of that.
