The Alicantian League was a confederation of Valinain polities formed in 302 by Saint Valentus. The city-states who signed the Aenean Charter were Alicante, Renare, Morena, Laurent, and (later) Galatia. It succeeded the Alicantian Republic and preceded the Alicantian Empire, the current stage of Alicantian civilization.
The League was dissolved in 307 when Valentus urged the Continental Assembly (the League's legislative body) to rant him emergency powers. Valentus then reorganized the government into the Alicantian Empire in order to ensure the security and continuing stability.
