Draconid is a term referring to sapient reptiles, amphibians, and related creatures. It is a broad category of organisms roughly equivalent to the term Scalykind or Scaled Ones.

The term actually originates from the Himralda. In their racial hierarchy, draconids are the highest caste. There are also subdivisions of draconids (greater draconids and lesser draconids), but we can get to that later.
