The Legacies are a collection of all information in existence: a library which only the oracle can access and read, that houses all knowledge—past, present, and future.
Virtually no one knows what the exact nature of the Legacies is. We only have guesses. We don't know if they're physical texts, or if they're somehow incorporeal. We don't know how the oracle can access them, or what it means to access them. We don't know who (if anyone) created the Legacies, and for what reason (if any).
