Titan (disambiguation)
From Marillia
The term Titan has many different meanings in many contexts. It's kind of annoying, actually. See, back in my day, the term just referred to the immortals who fought the Greek gods in the Titanomachy, like Kronos and Hyperion. But no, in D&D and PF, they just slap the term "titan" onto everyone and their grandma.
Titan may refer to:
- In Hellenistic mythology, the Titans are a generation of immortals who were the progenitors of the Olympians.
- In the Nentir Vale, the primordials, also known as the Dawn Titans,[1] are a group of immortals who fought the astral gods during the Dawn War.
- In Exandria, the Primordial Titans were the immortals who fought a great war against the Prime Gods.
- In D&D and PF, titans are divine beings created by the gods. They are a type of quasi-deity. In Marillia, these guys are called kyons.
- In the Forgotten Realms, titans are the largest giants.
