Sertrous is a great and ancient evil. Some of his followers consider him a great demon king, while others, such as renegade yuan-ti cultists, worship him as a god. He is a force of malice and hate and vast knowledge. He is not widely known, only appearing in a scant few occult texts. Some, such as his aboleth worshipers, consider him as an Elder Evil.

Sertrous is easily powerful enough to serve as an otherworldly patron, either as the Fiend or Great Old One.
