Sehanine Moonbabe ("SAY-ha-neen") is a member of the Seldarine, believed to be the elven goddess of the moon (or more specifically, the full moon), death, dreams, and mysticism. Many believe her to be an aspect of Selûne and Angharradh.

Alignment

In the Nentir Vale, she is considered Unaligned, while in Greyhawk, Exandria, and the FR, she's considered Chaotic Good.

Relationships

Sehanine is one of the most powerful members of the Seldarine. In many worlds, she is believed to be a consort of Corellon Larethian, if not his main consort.

Presence and status

Sehanine is known in many worlds, including the Nentir Vale, Exandria, Greyhawk, and the Forgotten Realms. She is little known in Teresis, given the severe lack of elves.

In the Nentir Vale, Sehanine is the preeminent elven goddess. In the Forgotten Realms, she forms one-third of the greater elven goddess Angharradh.
