Oneiromancy
Oneiromancy (I say "oh-NEE-roh-man-see"; from Greek oneiro- "dream" + Greek manteia "divination") is dream magic. It includes a broad range of practices, including everything from lucid dreaming, to dream interpretation, to dream divination, to entering others' dreams, and even to controlling others' dreams. Practitioners are called oneiromancers, dreamers, or dream magicians.
Dream magic in Marillia is predominantly associated with the Somnia and other cults of Zakkadus, the dreaming god.
Perhaps the most potent form of oneiromancy—and arguably the most difficult—is dreamwalking,[1] the art of entering others' dreams and observing, influencing, or controlling them. It is as potent a practice as it is a dangerous one, and many magical and mystical societies have forbidden it. Most Somnian abbots consider it a dark art, and the Saparo Forta has long since banned its practice.

- ↑ Note that dreamwalking overlaps greatly with astral travel. Some magicians even argue they're the same thing.
